Duncan stepped into the music world in 2009 with her debut EP and gained recognition through the BBC show Goldie's Band: By Royal Appointment in 2011. After her successful participation, she joined Decca Records, releasing her praised first album, Devil in Me, in 2012 and appearing on Later... with Jools Holland.

Natalie has been prolific ever since, touring, collaborating, and releasing new music, including the critically acclaimed second album, Free, in 2020. Her single 'Sirens' was featured on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 Music.

In 2023, Duncan became lead vocalist for jazz-funk outfit Incognito, co-writing several tracks for their latest album. Her third album, Black Moon, was released in March 2026, and she is currently co-writing for forthcoming releases by Goldie and Natalie Williams.
